At Heavenly Acres For Pets, we understand what it means to lose a family pet. It is only natural that you desire an appropriate and meaningful way to say farewell to one that has meant so much to your life. Our business was created to honor those who have made a difference in our lives.
From Owner, Jaci Brackeen: I have been a licensed funeral director and
embalmer since 1995 and worked in funeral homes in both Longview and Bossier
City. I am also a licensed crematory operator, and completed the Certified Pet
Loss Professional Training Program
sponsored by the International Cemetery,
Cremation, and Funeral Association and the Pet Loss Professionals Alliance in
2011. We started this business in 2003 after learning cremation services would
no longer be provided in town. I felt the community needed this service and was
a way to continue my passion to help grieving families during the toughest
times in their life. I have two wonderful kids and are currently Co-Captain of
the Krewe of Barkus and Meoux.
The only pet cemetery and cremation
business in the Shreveport/Bossier City area and also serve Haughton, Benton, Minden, Homer, Vivian, Waskom, Stonewall, Grand Cane, Natchitoches, Texarkana, and Longview (plus a few in between). Phones are answered 365 days a year to respond to the urgent needs of families wherever you are.
